Fun Facts

Even though I call Cleveland home, I've lived in seven different states. The reason for all the moves, my father was a sports anchor for more than 20 years. My favorite place out of all seven states is Arizona.

What I Love Most About Buffalo

I love all the different restaurants to choose from. I can't wait to check them out when I'm not working. The people are also very friendly and from what I hear, die-hard sports fans!

Most Interesting Assignments

While in Elmira I had the chance to cover a wide range of interesting stories. In June of 2006 Ralph "Bucky" Phillips shot and wounded a New York State Trooper in a small town near Elmira. Phillips led New York State Police on the longest manhunt in the state.

I've also had the privilege of writing a two-part series on Ernie Davis. He's the first Black to win the distinguished Heisman Award. I learned so much about the Elmira native while researching that assignment. A movie about Davis' life will hit theaters nationwide in 2008.
