Most Interesting Assignments

 

  • Reporting in the heaviest rain I have ever experienced during the Goo Goo Dolls concert July 4, 2004. I went through 3 changes of clothes that night, but had a blast!
  • Reporting to work the day after the October storm 2006...walking down my street to have a co-worker pick me up because fallen trees made it impossible to drive....then driving around WNY to see how it had been transformed overnight. The images will always stay in my mind.
  • 2008: Rudy "Bocce" from the original "Bocce Club Pizza"...the elderly business owner was held up at gunpoint, only to show the robbers his own gun. Rudy said after being in business for over 60 years, he wasn't scared by the robbers, just very mad at them for wanting to steal money and pizza!
