Jordan Williams joins News 4 after four years anchoring and reporting at KRGV-TV in the Rio Grande Valley in South Texas. He helped the station expand its morning newscast and drove the station's #1 ratings even higher.

Williams says he'll strive to make "Wake Up" even more meaningful. "I love morning news and realize the role it can play in shaping our viewers' day. I'm excited to join a team that knows how important breaking overnight news and weather can be. We need to make sure every minute of our broadcast matters."

Jordan's investigative journalism has helped expose government waste and wrongdoing, skills he brings to News 4.

Williams has earned four regional Emmys, including three Emmys for his work on the KRGV-TV “Morning Newscast” in 2010, 2011 and 2012.  He has also won two regional Edward R. Murrow Awards and ten first place awards from the Texas Associated Press Broadcasters. The Headliners Foundation of Texas honored Jordan in 2010 as Best TV Reporter in Texas.

Jordan graduated with honors from Trinity University with a Bachelor of Arts in both communication and music. He's also anchored and reported in Oklahoma City and in Midland, in West Texas.

When he isn't reporting, you'll likely find Jordan sharing his love of music. He's an organist and plays for churches of all denominations, and occasionally, he even performs recitals.
