GooGoo Dolls singer announces fest date

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A popular music event will have a magical theme for 2010.

Sunday afternoon, singer Robby Takac announced the date for the eighth annual Music is Art Festival.

It will take place at the Albright Knox art gallery on Sunday, September 11th.

The festival will include more than 30 local bands, djs, live art, and even magicians.

"A ton of magicians are coming here. We've themed it the Magic Mayhem, is what they called it," Robby explained.

He also exclaimed, "Yeah it should be a great time and the Albright's a perfect place for it."

More than 1,000 artists submitted requests to be part of the Music is Art Festival in 2010.
