BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - News 4 found people out and about everywhere they went on Sunday, enjoying the beautiful weather and Memorial Day holiday.

Frisbee, tennis, basketball. You don't have to walk very far at Delaware Park to find somebody playing a sport.

One father spent time with his 1-year-old son and waited for a spot in a round of basketball.

"We don't want to complain about the weather. The last time we complained, we got the October Storm."

Some worked up a sweat and others spent quality time with family.

"You know we just thought it would be a good idea to get the kids out and get the dog out, and just walk around a little bit," Rashawn Whisnant commented.

Alex Mills is working on his tan and giving himself a month off from the heavy work load.

"I just graduated from U.B. I got an engineering degree and I'm taking a month of vacation. I've been biking around town and running. Today I got up late and decided to go for a run," he explained.

Most state parks and beaches are full as well.

Cody Miller said, "I was spending the entire day with some friends, and it's very nice out."
