PALO ALTO, C.A. (WIVB) - “Awesome,” that's what Facebook's founder is calling Wednesday's big announcement.
While touring Facebook's engineering site in Seattle yesterday, Mark Zuckerbrg wouldn't give many details about the announcement, but the experts certainly have their own ideas.
CNet.com expert Brian Cooley said, “"There are two odds on Facebook for their announcement. One would be an iPad app for Facebook. Right now they only have an iPhone app, which is of course very small and doesn't fill the tablet out well. The second would be a video calling service built right into Facebook so as you're connecting with friends you can just click to do a video call.”
The timing of this announcement is anything but random.
Since it was launched last week, Google has been getting all the buzz in the the social media world for it's new site, Google +.
