Board backs nuclear worker benefits

NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WIVB) - It's the news Bethlehem Steel retirees and their families have waited to hear for years.

The Federal Advisory Board on Radiation and Worker Health has recommended benefits for former workers who were exposed to radiation while working on Cold War projects at the Lackawanna steel mills. Congressman Brian Higgins applauded the move as long overdue.
