BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The queen city is getting its first new urban nursing home in decades.
Crews broke ground on Kaleida Health's latest facility on Thursday. The $64 million nursing home will sit on Michigan Avenue. It will eventually replace two other Kaleida nursing homes that will close in the next couple years. Those are the Deaconess Center on Humboldt Parkway and the nursing unit at Millard Fillmore Gates Circle Hospital.
