BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Catholic Health is implementing temporary visitor restrictions, aimed at reducing flu risk for patients and visitors.

Visitor age restrictions are in effect at all Catholic Health hospitals and long-term care facilities, limiting visitors to people age 14 and older.

In addition, people who are experiencing flu-like symptoms of fever, fatigue, body aches, sore throat or respiratory issues are urged not to visit patients at the facilities.

Catholic Health is also installing more hand sanitizer dispensing units throughout the facilities and encouraging people to wash their hands more frequently.
