Final goodbye to local soldier

NIAGARA WHEATFIELD, N.Y. (WIVB) - Family and friends will say their final goodbyes on Saturday to a native son who made the ultimate sacrifice for his country.

A funeral service for Army Specialist Alan Dikcis will start at noon in Saint Leo's Church in the town of Niagara.

The 21-year-old father and Wheatfield High School graduate recently died in a roadside bombing in Afghanistan.
