BUFFALO, NY - The death sentences have been upheld for four Sudanese
terrorists who assassinated Buffalo born diplomat John Granville.
Granville, 33, was involved in negotiating peace treaties in
the Sudan and worked for the U.S. Agency for International
Development.. He grew up in South Buffalo and graduated from
Canisius High School.
Granville and his Sudanese driver were murdered on January 1,
2008 as they drove home from a New Year's Eve party at the home of
a British diplomat.
