It’s the oldest and largest Festival when the foliage of the surrounding hills is ablaze with color. Tens of thousands of festival goers make for a lively weekend of unique foods, an arts and Crafts Show, carnival rides, live entertainment and much more.

Letchworth Arts & Crafts Show & Sale

Columbus Day weekend: October 10, 11 & 12, 2009
This year's theme is "Ride the Wind."

The Letchworth Arts & Crafts Show & Sale®, sponsored by the Arts Council for Wyoming County, presents the finest of artists, artisans, and craftspeople from all over the country. The show takes place from 10 am to 5 pm on Saturday and Sunday and from 10 am to 4 pm on Monday at the Highbanks Recreation Area of Letchworth State Park.

Enjoy peak fall foliage at the spectacular "Grand Canyon of the East" .

Admission and parking for the craft show are free with $6 per car entrance to the park. Handicapped parking is available along with curbside pickup of heavy purchases. Shuttle bus service is provided free within the park and is also available for $3 round trip from the parking lot of American Outfitters on Rte. 39 in Perry.

 Taste of Amish and Flea Market
Sat. Oct 10 2009 10am - 4pm
Stop in Leon on the 2nd Saturday of each month, May through October, for a flea market and Taste of Amish. Vendors of all kinds will be present, including wonderful baked goods from our Amish residents. The Museum will also be open from 10am - 4pm. h/c access

Peek'n Peak Resort
Peek’n Peak Resort and Spa will host their 22nd annual Fall Festival the weekends of October 10 & 11 and October 17 & 18. The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. each day. New for 2009, the Peak has asked that guests bring a can of food for local charity in exchange for free admission.

This year’s festivities include a craft show with over 90 vendors, lift rides among the turning leaves, a farmers’ market featuring locally grown products, horse drawn carriage rides, a petting zoo, pony rides and more. Kids are welcome to enjoy crafts, bounce houses, activities and entertainment with magician Bruce Kikola, juggler Bob Nickerson, the Cap’n Kids Pirate Show and more. On Sunday, October 11 the 12th annual Turning Leaves Classic Car Cruise-in will ride in to the Peak. There is a $2 donation to park, a 50/50 drawing and door prizes with proceeds benefiting Shriner’s Hospital. The cruise-in is sponsored by the Southern Tier Classic Chevy Club.
