Pedro Espada returns to Democratic fold

ALBANY, N.Y. (WIVB) - The New York Post is reporting that rogue democratic state senator Pedro Espada "will return to the Democratic fold and end the month-long Senate stalemate."

The State Senate is currently split 31-31.  Espada would become Majority Leader for the Democrats under the new agreement.   The Post quotes Espada as saying "I'm going to tell (Republican leader Sen.) Dean Skelos that I have a handshake agreement with (Democratic leader Sen.) John Sampson to become majority leader."
