PEMBROKE, N.Y. - The Town of Pembroke in Genesee County will receive $166,000 in New York state grants to help Yancey's Fancy, Inc. expand, create 15 Jobs

The New York state Community Development Block grant and the Small Business Assistance Program is supporting businesses in several Western New York counties- Wyoming and Genesee.

Yancey's Fancy produces cheeses that are distributed throughout the Northeast and is one of the most significant agribusiness manufacturers in Genesee County. NYS CDBG funds will help the company purchase new equipment and more than double the capacity of its primary product lines.

This investment will help leverage an additional $500,000 in private financing and will result in 15 new jobs within two years, 12 of which will be available to low and moderate-income New Yorkers.
