A registered sex offender from Wyoming County was arrested after he was found hiding inside a women’s bathroom in a dorm at Nazareth College.
Rick R. Dietz, 47, of Perry, N.Y., was charged with two counts of second-degree burglary, a felony, and two counts of third-degree stalking, a misdemeanor.
Dietz was allegedly found hiding in a shower in a third-floor women’s bathroom in Kearney Hall on Oct. 14.
Police say it appeared that Dietz was attempting to peep at some women in the bathroom.
The suspect is also linked to a similar incident on the college campus several weeks earlier.
Dietz allegedly told police that he had permission to use the shower.
