Crystal Beach collection auction

BUFFALO, NY - If you have a warm spot in your heart for Crystal Beach, today is your opportunity to buy a piece of amusement park nostalgia.

Tuesday night a collection of Crystal Beach items collected by Dr. Burt Sellers will be auctioned off at the Lodge Auction House in South Buffalo.

Sellers has been a collector since the park closed in the late 1980’s and is now planning a move down south.

The collection includes many of the signs that graced the amusement park but also includes a few wooden beams from the legendary rollercoaster, “The Comet”.  There are even several life jackets from the boat that ferried visitors to Crystal Beach, The Canadiana.
