BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - News 4's Melissa Holmes thanks News 4's Joe Arena for this deal of the day. Tuesday morning, they were talking and Joe said FTD sent him a coupon in his e-mail for 20% Valentine's Day roses, so that got Melissa thinking, where can she find Valentine's Day flower deals for Wake-Up viewers?

Holmes went to one of her favorite coupon websites, www.retailmenot.com , and found if you use coupon code 13288 on FTD's website, you'll get 20% off your order and they'll throw in a free vase. Another coupon code is ENT2010, you'll save $15 off your order. So basically, if you're spending less than $75, use the $15 dollar off coupon. If you're spending more, use the 20% off coupon.

If you prefer 1-800-Flowers, Melissa found a coupon from couponmountain.com for 15% off when you spend $39.99. That coupon code is CPMTN15. Coupon code WINNER also works for 15% off.

Then there's Proflowers. Couponcabin.com has a code for 15% off, it's COUPCAB15. But check this out. Go to Google and type in ProFlowers coupon. At the top of the results, you'll see it tells you 15%, 20% or 25%, keep refreshing the results page until you get 25% then click the link and you'll see it automatically applies at checkout and you get a free vase.

Really, it just takes a little browsing online to find great deals on flowers for Valentine's Day. Of course, local florists have great deals too. And you can also donate to charities and get flowers. Like Cystic Fibrosis, $30 for a dozen red roses and a portion of the proceeds goes to the charity.
