Limited amnesty for tax troubles in NYS

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The state is offering limited amnesty to New Yorkers having trouble with their taxes.

The payback program will allow tax delinquents to pay back what they owe with reduced penalties and interest. The state tax department estimates 800,000 people and businesses will be able to take advantage of the program, which runs through March 15th.
