BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - IRS-certified accounting students from the University at Buffalo School of Management are once again providing free tax preparation services to individuals and families. Anyone with an annual incomes of less than $50,000 qualifies.
The service is open to students and area residents and will be held on UB’s North and South campuses. The IRS estimates this free services can save taxpayers up to $300 in preparation fees.
Free tax preparation will be offered from 10 am to 4:30 pm on a first-come, first-served basis in 100 Allen Hall, South Campus, on Feb. 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25 and 26. Services also will be offered in 106 Jacobs Management Center (The John H. Shellum Room), North Campus, on March 3, 4 and 31, and April 1, 7, 8 and 14.
