TONAWANDA, N.Y. - The future of the Dunlop plant in the Town of Tonawanda is looking brighter.

Goodyear Tired has announced the closing of a plant in Spartanburg, S.C. which means an increased workload for the western New York facility and another in Georgia. That work involves producing materials for truck and aviation tires.

Although the production outlook appears rosey, the Tonawanda Plant Communications Manager Diane Zwirecki says that specific details haven't been finalized.
