YOUNGSTOWN, N.Y. (WIVB) - History is coming alive this weekend at Old Fort Niagara.
2009 marks the 250th anniversary of the historic siege of Niagara during the French and Indian War.
It was July, 1759, when a British Army laid siege to French-held Fort Niagara.
This weekend, more than 2500 re-enactors will commemorate that anniversary with a large scale re-enactment.
It will also feature living history camps filled with people portraying 18th century soldiers and artisans.
