BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Good samaritans are stepping up during these tough economic
times, and doing what they can for those in need.
Lorey Schultz recently visited a very special place in North
Buffalo.
It's a place where people can get a free hot meal, free
clothes, and free tutoring for their children, every Wednesday
night.
Charmaine Then, Program Founder said, "We started talking to
families and we discovered there's a lot of working single parents
in this area who, their incomes are stretched, and so coming on
Wednesdays for a free meal was helping them."
The weekly 'Night-Out' is open to anyone, with no questions
asked. You can find out where it is, or how you can become a
volunteer, by watching Lorey's report Friday night on News 4 at
5.
