BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A citizen activist is taking his mission to downsize local governments directly to the streets.

Kevin Gaughan and 200 volunteers are going door to door asking Erie County residents to support a downsizing petition.

Gaughan wants to cut the Amherst, Cheektowaga, West Seneca and Evans town boards by two members and abolish the village government in Blasdell.
