BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Volunteers put on their painters' caps to help improve their community.
Saturday hundreds of western New Yorkers took part in Brush Up Buffalo.
They spent the day stripping old paint, putting on new and doing trim work for about a dozen homes in the Queen City.
Brush Up Buffalo was scheduled for last Saturday but it was rained out.
This is the 14th straight year for the event.
