Buffalo Pizza Fest

CHEEKTOWAGA, N.Y. (WIVB) - If you enjoy the taste of Buffalo or Wing Fest, you'll probably like the newest variation on a food sampling competition.

The first Buffalo Pizza Fest is happening Sunday at Hearthstone Manor in Depew.

Organizers were inspired to use part of the proceeds to raise money for Women and Children's Hospital in Buffalo.

"They're raising money for a new slice scanner, which is a $1.5 million machine. We thought if it's a slice scanner, and it's a slice of pizza, so, we're going to raise a slice of hope for Women's and Children Hospital," said Matthew Dole of Buffalo Pizza Fest.

The Pizza Fest continues until 9 p.m. Sunday.
