Civil War weekend at the Amherst Museum

AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - On this father's day, many western New Yorkers decided to take a trip back in time.

The 19th century came alive at the Amherst Museum for its Annual Civil War weekend.

Reenactors from both the North and South set-up camp on the museum's grounds braving the elements for the popular event.

The attractions even included a reenactment of the first day of the Battle of Gettysburg.
