BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A former Elmwood Village coffee shop owner is guilty of setting
his business on fire.
A jury convicted 43-year-old Lon Coldiron of third-degree
arson and second-degree attempted grand larceny.
Prosecutors say Coldiron applied for nearly $300,000 in insurance just weeks before the fire destroyed his coffee shop and killed one of his dogs in his apartment upstairs.
He'll be sentenced in September.
