BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Erie County Executive Christopher Collins is heading to Albany Tuesday.
The County Executive plans to attend Wednesday's State of the State.
Today he plans to meet with the entire western New York Delegation, including other county executives.
The Governor has already proposed significant cuts in state aid.
"Right now we're anticipating it could be a hit as large as twenty million dollars here in Erie County and we've already started contingency plans," said the Erie County Executive. "I think what it means, it we'll be providing less services this next year. We just don't know the details, which is why we're going down."
Collins isn't the only local political leader on his way to Albany.
Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown and Niagara Falls Mayor Paul Dyster are also making the trip.
