BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Gowanda Area Flood Assistance Help Line is: 716-995-2164. They provide 24 hour help with food, medical, clothing, shelter and social services.
In Silver Creek the Amvets at 234 Central Avenue in Silver Creek is open 24 hours a day and is offering food, water, clothing and other supplies to the storm victims
For aid in Chautauqua county, Chautauqua County Executive Gregory Edwards is working to help with recovery efforts in the flooded communities of Silver Creek and Forestville:

Help is also available in Chautauqua through the Family Assistance Center at Gowanda Elementary School, at 450 Aldrich Street. >> Family Assistance Center
Gowanda Assembly of God Church is acting as a hub for volunteers and collections. The church is at 78 Allen Street (corner of Aldrich and Allen). Volunteer Check-In and Donations drop-off is from 7 a.m.- 7p.m.
