BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A former prosecutor is going to jail. Anne Adams was led from a courtroom in handcuffs after a judge sentenced her to 15 days in jail plus 3 years probation and a $500 fine.

She also lost her driver’s license and will have to write a letter of apology. Adams’ attorney asked for a delay in sentencing but the judge denied the request.

Adams was charged with DWI after being pulled over in September 2008. News 4 senior correspondent Rich Newberg was in court for the sentencing.  He has much more on this story Thursday on News 4 at Noon, 5 and 6.
