CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - Prosecutors say they will ask a grand jury to review the death of a Hobart College lacrosse player found dead in his off-campus apartment in January.
Prosecutors had planned Thursday to release autopsy results and possible criminal charges in the death of 20-year-old Warren Kimber IV of Summit, N.J. Instead, they announced the case will go to a grand jury.
Kimber was found dead Jan. 31 in an apartment he shared with three teammates.
Authorities haven't said how the Hobart sophomore died.
Neighbors said there was a party at the apartment the night before.
Kimber's grandfather, Warren Kimber Jr., is a trustee of the upstate New York college.
