WEST SENECA, N.Y. (WIVB) - Firefighters in West Seneca want to know what sparked an early Monday morning house fire.
Fire erupted at a home on Transit Road just south of the 400 around six in the morning.
Authorities say heavy smoke and flames were coming from a front window when they arrived.
The occupants were able to get out of the home.
Fire-fighters say one person was taken to Sisters Hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation.
That person's name and condition have not been released.
