Meningitis scare in Batavia

BATAVIA, N .Y. (WIVB) - Genesse County Health officials are trying to determine whether a young Batavia girl died of viral Meningitis.

According to a published report, the 9 year-old student attended John Kennedy Elementary School in the City of Batavia.

Wednesday, the school reportedly sent home a letter advising anyone who may have exhanged saliva with the student to contact their physician immediately.
