Person suffers cuts from boat propeller

MAGNOLIA, N.Y. (WIVB) - A boating accident in the southern tier has sent one person to the hospital.

It happened Sunday night in the Magnolia area on Chautauqua Lake.

Sheriff's investigators say a person in the water suffered cuts to his lower body after getting hit by a boat's propeller.

Rescuers took the victim to WCA hospital in Jamestown.

His name and condition have not been released.
