BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - News 4 has learned the suspect in a double shooting was in police custody, but released.

Bob Coleman, father of the shooting victim said, "My daughter is just a beautiful young lady." Bob Coleman's daughter Kiele remains hospitalized.

She and boyfriend Frank Militello are both in critical condition.  The two suffered gun shot wounds to the head Monday while driving on Saint Lawrence Avenue in North Buffalo.

Police are still looking for their prime suspect Adrienne March. Oddly enough, Cheektowaga Police arrested March for marijuana possession about 10 hours after the shooting.

She didn't have ID so police kept her in jail overnight in Cheektowaga.  The next day, when someone showed up with a fake ID, police let her go.

"I think that's terrible. It's terrible. Especially when the people in the neighborhood said she lived there and got out and ran. That's terrible," said Coleman.
