WILLIAMSVILLE, N.Y. (WIVB) - From a stream of consciousness written on a facebook book page just five weeks ago to the stage Thursday night, a song for the families of the victims of flight 3407 was sung live for the first time.
"It was moving and the voices were remarkable and to see the choir swaying it was really neat,"
But more than that, Thursay night provided much needed support for those still grieving.
"We constantly remind ourselves that people lose loved ones all the time and they don't have the acknowledgment and support that we've received,"
Marylyn and her husband lost their daughter on that day five weeks ago but thanks to her friends and neighbors, they both are finding it a little easier to move on.
"This is very much to us personal the loss of our daughter but it's a community and it's comforting to have so much support,"
And hearing those words is exactly why song writer Noa Bursie decided to write the song she titled, "Love Knows No Boundaries".
Bursie said, "If in some way, some measure this song reaches out to them and allows them to move forward in the grieving process then it's done it's job."
