CLARENCE, N.Y. (WIVB) - Students from Clarence High School were hosting an event in memory of the Flight 3407 crash victims.
With the help of Upstate New York Transplant Services, students transformed a room at Zion Lutheran Church in Clarence Center for a community blood drive.
The young organizers said it was a way they knew they could make a difference.
Student, Quinne Sember said, "Everyone in our community was really effected by the crash and everyone has been trying to do things to make us feel like we're making a difference and we thought it was a good way to memorialize the victims."
All of the blood collected will help patients in Western New
York.
