BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Police have released a picture of a woman wanted for the Monday
shootings of two people in North Buffalo. The victims were shot
from behind while inside a car, forcing them to crash.
In a matter of horrifying minutes in broad daylight, two
people were shot at close range and critically injured.
The driver, 26 year old Frank Militello of Buffalo and his 22
year old passenger Kiele Coleman of Kenmore were shot in the front
seat of the car, which then crashed into a tree on the 100 block of
St. Lawrence Avenue in North Buffalo.
Buffalo Police Spokesman Mike DeGeorge said he believes the
suspect knew the two victims.
Buffalo Police have issued a photo of the suspect, 21 year
old Adrienne March, black female, 5' 7", weighing 170 pounds, last
seen wearing a tan Carhart jacket, baggy dark blue jeans and a
white tee shirt. She is considered armed and dangerous.
Lou Ann Klein from St. Lawrence Avenue said, "The woman got
out of the car and proceeded to take off."
Neighbors from Lawrence Avenue said the woman had changed her
clothes before fleeing. A neighbor who talked to an eye
witness said the suspect's mouth was frothing and that she was
sweaty.
Residents suspect it was a drug deal gone bad because the
black 2000 Chevy Impala had been seen on the block for weeks.
One unidentified neighbor said, "It is a vehicle that's been
coming up and down the street quite a bit. It's very well
known to see."
The North Buffalo Community Center which services many
seniors and children, locked its entrances during the crisis.
Police are hoping the release of the photo of Adrianne March
will lead to a quick arrest. If you see the suspect, police said to
immediately call 911.
