AMHERST, N.Y. (WIVB) - Police on the UB North Campus evacuated Lockwood Library after campus police received unconfirmed reports of a man with a gun inside, according to UB Spokesman John Della Contrada.
Police ordered an immediate evacuation of the library, secured the building and alerted the campus community by text message. Classes and activities have been canceled while the incident is resolved.
Police have given the all clear and UB reports that classes will resume tomorrow. However, the question remains, was there ever a gunman spotted on police surveillance video? We will bring you the latest on the 10 and 11 o'clock news
