BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Eight-year-old Gracie Curella and her little sister, Eva, organized a family yard sale to raise money for Carly's Club at Roswell Park.
She presented the cancer institute with a check for about a thousand dollars on Friday.
"We asked people if they wanted to donate anything. Me, mom, dad and Eva, we donated some stuff too," Gracie said.
Robin Hace of Carly's Club said, "We wouldn't be able to do what we do every day for the pediatric patients at Roswell without generous donations from the community like Grace and Eva's yard sale. It's just an incredible thing for them to do and thinking of Roswell and to think of the kids here and to help us continue the mission that we do every day."
