BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The city of Buffalo's financial activity will remain under strict adult supervision.
Governor David Paterson struck down a bill that would have weakened the powers of the city's Fiscal Stability Authority. Paterson also vetoed the bill last year , saying the Control Board plays an important role in maintaining the city's fiscal stability. In total, this is the fourth time the measure has been vetoed. Control Board members have recently warned of upcoming fiscal challenges for the city school district.
