BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The bitter taste of defeat, that's what Bills fans are waking up to following Sunday's disappointing home opener.

A new coach and new players didn't add up to a Bills victory, the team lost the home opener 15-10 against the Miami Dolphins.

Now, the fans are back to brainstorming about how to fix the team.

"Get rid of everything. The offense stinks. The defense stinks. The preseason is over, quit being happy," said Bills fan LaMont Ford.

Bills Nation came to the Ralph fired up for the regular season to finally start, but left feeling deflated.

Bills Fan Erin San George said, "I thought they could have played a little bit better. They could have played some football."

For most of the game, it was the same old story.

The team made it close in the fourth quarter.

But close doesn't count when you're looking to win.

Bills Fan Jason Farrugia said, "Trent Edwards has to go. I like Trent, but he's not cutting it for the Bills. They need an offensive line. They need another receiver as well."

Bills Fan Michael Leff said, "They're not headed in the right direction at this point. The coaching, there seemed to be a lot of coaching errors today. I hope they are able to get things together for the future."

Paul Posluszny was hurt on the first play of the third quarter and may be out with a knee injury for a while.

The Bills will have another chance to turn things around when they take on the Packers in Green Bay next Sunday.
