Police say victim should survive

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - There was a shooting on Buffalo’s west side, Wednesday night. Police say someone was shot at Richmond and Bird Avenues around 10:30 p.m.

According to police, two people were walking in the street on Bird Avenue, when the suspect approached them, demanded money and then shot a 25-year-old man.

The victim was taken to ECMC where he is listed in serious condition.
