BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Part of the Buffalo Zoo looked more like the wild kingdom on this amateur video.
The video shows a squirrel caught in a tiger exhibit, and the big cats zeroed in on the furry prey. At one point a tiger snatched the squirrel in its jaws, then let the squirrel go. The tigers even climbed a fir tree to shake the squirrel from the treetop.
Eventually zoo officials caged the tigers, ensuring the rodent's freedom. A News 4 employee received explicit permission from his cousin, who shot the video, for us to use it.
