SOUTH BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A local singing group sold books on Monday to raise money.

The Freudig Singers held their annual fundraiser on Indian Church Road in South Buffalo across from Tim Russert Park. The ensemble of about 20 singers specializes in broadening listeners' musical experience by performing classic and contemporary choral compositions.

Louis Clay, treasurer of the Freudig Singers, said, "We're a local choir, we've been singing 27 years this year, and we sing four times a year. Mostly we sing period music, but also Christmas, we sing Christmas carols, and in May we sing musicals in the springtime, music."

You can view the Freudig Singers schedule and buy recordings of their music on their website .
