BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - A passenger in an SUV that hit two college students has been found guilty of criminal solicitation.

36-year-old John Pieri was riding in the vehicle that struck Amy Stewart and Rachel Baird near Daemen College in Amherst in March 2009. Prosecutors say Pieri encouraged Stephanie Glinski to keep driving. Both victims suffered severe injuries.

She's serving one to three years in prison for leaving the scene.
