BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The crusade to stop bullying once and for all is taking a big step forward.

On Thursday, Buffalo Mayor Byron Brown and Buffalo Sabre Derek Roy began recording a public service announcement. The project follows the tragic death of Jamey Rodemeyer, the Williamsville North High School student who took his own life, after being tormented by bullies. Jamey's tragic story has touched hearts across the nation.

Mayor Brown says more people need to take a stand.
