BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Obamas have invited Mayor Byron Brown to the White House this Sunday, to watch the Super Bowl.
>> The mayor will be among famous guests like Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony
One hundred guests will attend the event. Brown and Newark, New Jersey Mayor Cory Booker are among the only mayors invited.

“I’m thrilled to have received this invitation from President Obama and First Lady Obama to join them at the East Wing Theater in the White House for Super Bowl XLV,” said Mayor Brown. “I look forward to joining the other guests for what will surely be a great football game and I look forward to the opportunity to speak to President Obama about our shared interests and a wide variety of issues affecting Buffalo, New York State, and our country. This is a great honor and I am proud to attend on behalf of all the residents of the City of Buffalo.”
Deputy Mayor Steve Casey will join Brown at the event, which will also include a meeting with the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs.
