BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - The Sabres lost 3-2 to the Philadelphia Flyers, Wednesday night . Sabres goalie Ryan Miller let the Flyers’ first two goals in during the first 11 seconds of the game.
Miller is taking some heat Thursday about his performance, and about his comments after the game.
After the game, Miller spoke with the media about the crowd “booing” him. Miller said, “They bought their tickets, they can do whatever they want. They were cheering when I made a save, boo when I don’t. Whatever.”
This has become a hot topic on social media Thursday. Dozens of people have commented on our News 4 Facebook Page. Let us know what you think by leaving a comment below or voting in our poll that is attached to this story.
Some fans are upset with Miller, others are still by his side. Katie Kohr said, "He's allowed to have a bad game but, his comment after last night's game was pretty ignorant. I'm a Miller fan but, I really don't like him after that. He needs to sit out a few games, give him time to get his head back in the game."
Ace Cousineau weighed in, saying, "Let's not start jumping off the Ryan Miller bandwagon now. Hey, I support Miller 100 percent he's still the man in the net. Miller rules."
