Porter Ave reconstruction kicks off

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) - Buffalo's international gateway is getting a much needed do-over.

The city of Buffalo has begun a $1.5 million reconstruction of Porter Avenue from LaSalle Park to Niagara Street. That includes the all-important entrance to the Peace Bridge.
